Mark Lanyon enjoyed an itinerant childhood, as his father’s soldiering took his family around Europe and the UK, before attending a junior seminary boarding school in Staffordshire and then teacher training college in Birmingham.
Now an ex-teacher and head teacher, he is relishing a much needed retirement, a part of which was always going to be devoted to writing Who Stole Grandma? and several more stories.
When he isn’t writing, Mark can usually be found being a besotted Grandad, or exploring country walks in the UK, or cycling through vineyards in France, always taking photographs, or embroiled in shenanigans with his wife, Ranjit, and their retirement buddies.
